Liz Thacker is a senior at Pacific Ridge School and it is her first year in Journalism and Media Studies. She is interested in writing stories about sports, local news and analyzing school-wide data. She plays both indoor and beach volleyball, both for the school and club, and is planning on continuing to play volleyball in college. She is the leader and founder of SWEnext (the Society of Women Engineers next generation) and Math Club and a co-leader of Film Appreciation Club. She plans on studying mechanical engineering in college and working at a start-up company after graduating.
